Ed R. Levin County Park Maternity Photoshoot

Maternity + Family Photoshoot at Ed R. Levin County Park

This was my first photoshoot during the COVID pandemic! I had multiple photoshoots scheduled for March. I even planned a trip to Utah and was supposed to fly home sooner for a wedding, but that got cancelled. Many photo shoots were rescheduled and this was one of them, but we made the photos happen!

Brigette, Collin and their dog Simba were expecting a baby boy. I can’t imagine delivering a baby during the COViD-19 protocols at the hospital.

We didn’t have as much time as hoped for, but we got enough beautiful photos that I’m proud of. Some tips for taking maternity photos are:

  1. Position your body so that your baby bump is flattering to you. Do you want your belly straight on? Sideways to showcase your beautiful baby or slightly at an angle? Most ladies prefer slightly at an angle and I agree!

  2. Place your hands above and below to accentuate the bump!

  3. If your partner is there, place those hands on top of yours.

  4. Wear an outfit that you love and make sure you do your hair and makeup!

Ed R. Levin County Park is an excellent spot for outdoor photos if you like seeing a duck pond, greenery and some hills. Location, location, location. It is everything!
