Wow, look at these two! I was honored to be a part of Samantha and Felix’s elopement! Honestly this was the perfect setting. It was filled with a close group of family and at Carmel River State Beach. If I ever had a small wedding, this is the way I’d go! Seeing these two families join was beautiful. There was nothing there, but love and respect for one another. After years of being together and starting a life together, you guys are great examples for tying the knot. Congrats again you guys!

We had the perfect amount of time. Despite us not being able to take photos during sunset hour, we got lucky because the weather was a perfect overcast. The light was even and the photos were crisp and clear.

With every couple I take photos of, I try to get a variety of posed and candid photos. I give direction like “walk with one another back and forth on the beach, don’t look at me though! Just smile and laugh!”. Those are the cutest photos! We take dancing photos, holding one another, and serious and smiley photos. They’re all fun and always different.

Something I’ve noticed is that by the end of picture taking, all couples are truly smiling and happy. It’s a wonderful experience full of quality time and connection. I recommend couple’s photos whenever you want to feel that spark again!
