Merry Early Christmas! + 5 Tips!
Aren’t they dolls!? Oh my goodness! I’m in love with my toddler and my only blood related niece- Siena! When these two girls first got together, Stella would steal baby Siena’s toys from her and now that Stella is a bit older, she realizes that Siena is only a baby and really not a threat!
Stella actually began protecting Siena from the lights that were getting caught around her neck in the photos we took! Siena wanted to eat those lights up! AND the cookies! HAHAH! That was the best part of taking these photos. Stella just sat there almost staring at those delicious chocolate chip cookies while Siena grabbed one right away and started gnawing down on as much as she could! She only started eating recently too and I know my sister did NOT want Siena eating processed sugar or cookies at this point! Although Stella wasn’t crazy about the cookies, she was about the bottle of milk. I think she loved the coolness of that candy-cane striped straw!
I posted this on my Instagram; 5 tips for taking Christmas baby/toddler photos
Merry early Christmas! I love setting up “at home” photoshoots of little ones for the holidays.
1. Use natural light with minimal shadows.
2. Be creative. Buy props, cute themed outfits and tape wrapping paper to the wall. 😂
3. Take photos in portrait (low F stop) mode at eye level.
4. Sing songs to get kids to smile.
5. Take as many as you can and try something new!!
P.S. I definitely needed my sister’s help to get the babies’ attention!!!
