The Perfect Mother’s Day Gift: A Spring Photoshoot with Your Little Ones

For all those mommas out there, how many pictures do you have of yourself with your little ones!? As for myself, I am almost always the one behind the camera taking photos of my kids, my husband with my kids, the grandparents or asking a stranger to take a family photo for us on occasion. Mother’s day is coming soon and what better present to Mom (or yourself!) to book a professional photoshoot with your kiddos! They truly grow up so fast and so do we. Before you know it, your kids will be taking the photos, speaking full on sentences and will be too busy to do all the innocent cute things the young ones are totally into! Come enjoy a motherhood experience with your loved one(s) and cherish the photos you’ll take together forever.

This type of mini mini photo session is meant to be short and sweet! With some direction from me, a little interactive play between you and your kids, you all with feel the love and words of affirmation from this motherhood mini! The tall green grass, white and yellow wildflowers, and optional white crochet knit hanging cloth combined with golden hour lighting will take your breath away. Seriously! Enjoy a little walk up the hill as well and let your children roam around and admire the wildflowers.

What to Expect from a motherhood session:

  • Location: Near my home in Martinez amongst the spring flowers that are in bloom or we can meet at Briones or another location in Walnut Creek depending on the flowers!

  • Session Details: 10 minute more or less session for a special rate of $175. You will get at least 15 edited images within the week of the session. Session will be 30 minutes before sunset.

  • Wardrobe Guidance: Wear soft, neutral, or pastel colors that will complement the setting and are timeless. Feel free to add in pops of color, but I don’t suggest patterns that are too busy with too many colors. Many clients will dress up for these photos, but consider wearing clothing that feels like “you” whether the outfits is blue jeans and a creamy sweater, or a flowy dress or skirt. Keep the color palette from 3-4 colors maximum while coordinating with your kid’s clothing.

  • Who It’s For: Moms with young kids, expecting moms, grandmothers. My absolute favorite would be to take multi-generational photos! These are some of the sweetest photos that show the importance of family, loved ones and that we wouldn’t be here without our mothers and their mothers!

Motherhood Mini Sessions are limited and will book quickly! This is a special for Spring and Mother’s day. Reserve your spot today and create memories that will last more than a lifetime!
